We create new products by drying food ingredients with high moisture content, such as okara.
The food ingredients are supplied from a quantitative supply device to the main body of the dryer, while hot air at 300 to 450°C is simultaneously introduced from the hot air generation furnace into the main body. Through the combined action of hot air and stirring blades, the moisture content of the ingredients, which is around 80%, is dried to below 8%. The dried material is separated by a cyclone and rotary valve and sent to the next process. Some of the exhaust is returned to the hot air generation furnace, where it is reheated and reused as heated steam. By utilizing this heat recovery system, lining costs can be reduced by 10 to 20%.
【Features】
■ To prevent degradation of ingredients and microbial growth due to changes in transport time and temperature conditions, Yasujima can provide food-specific transport equipment tailored to the customer's manufacturing site. Additionally, the dryer itself automatically adjusts its drying capacity according to the ingredient supply line, significantly reducing the waiting time for ingredient drying.
■ The collaboration between the blades and hot air achieves a first-in, first-out process for the ingredients, allowing them to pass through the dryer in a short time, thereby reducing the risk of product thermal degradation and oxidation.
■ The dryer is designed and manufactured with a structure that makes each part easy to clean, and Yasujima has developed a unique cleaning system that significantly reduces the burden of daily cleaning of the dryer.
